I am David Martin, a passionate traveler, nature lover, writer and a deep researcher. I enjoy painting and illustration as my hobbies. I started hawaiiislandkauai.com back in 2024, recently I have restructured and strengthen my team whose collective efforts are result of this Kauai travel guide. We bring to our experiences mostly exploring natural wonders and uncovering hidden gems for bringing motivation to love nature and visit this beautiful place.

Ikaika is a local young man, Graduated from University of Texas at Austin. He contributed a lot for Hawaiian birds. Born with a love for travel and native wildlife, he’s especially drawn to the feathered wonders of Kauai. Here, he helps guide curious visitors through the island’s rich birdlife—sharing insights, hidden spots, and stories that bring the garden island to life. He is likely writing about his favorite species or soaking in the sounds of nature under the canopy.
